Man shot during argument in Cambodia Town, Long Beach police say
The shooting happened just before 9:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Anaheim Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
A man was hospitalized Sunday night after being shot during an argument in Long Beach’s Cambodia Town neighborhood, according to the city’s police department.
Police say two men were arguing in the 1200 block of East Anaheim Street when one of them shot the other in the lower body just before 9:30 p.m.
Officers responding to the scene rendered aid to the man who’d been shot until Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived and took him to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
His wound is not considered life-threatening, they added.
Suspect information is limited as police said they fled the scene before officers arrived.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
