Man stabbed in West Long Beach, police say
Police say the man was near the 2000 block of West 16th Street around 5 p.m. Thursday when he was stabbed.

A man was stabbed early Thursday night in West Long Beach, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Police say the man was near the 2000 block of West 16th Street around 5 p.m. Thursday when he was stabbed.
Officers arriving on scene found the man with what they described as life-threatening stab wounds to his upper body. Long Beach Fire personnel took the man to a local hospital.
There is no suspect information at this time, according to the LBPD.
The incident remains under investigation, police said.
