Man in stable condition after being shot in West Long Beach, police say
Police the man was in his car just before 6:30 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Harbor Avenue when someone shot him multiple times.
A man was hospitalized Monday evening after being shot in West Long Beach, according to police.
Police say a man was in his car in the 1900 block of Harbor Avenue just before 6:30 p.m. when he witnessed another person get out of a vehicle behind him.
The man then got out of his own car and thatβs when the suspect or suspects shot him, according to authorities.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the man whoβd been shot with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The man was then taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police, who said he is currently in stable condition.
Detectives responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing, police added.
