Man stabbed during argument in Downtown Long Beach, police say
The stabbing happened around 11:50 p.m. Monday near Sixth Street and Pine Avenue, authorities said.

Police are investigating a stabbing in Downtown Long Beach that left a man hospitalized Monday night, authorities said Tuesday.
Two men were arguing near Sixth Street and Pine Avenue around 11:50 p.m. when one of them stabbed the other in the lower body, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The victim took himself to a local hospital for treatment, police said. His wound was not considered life threatening, authorities said.
No arrest has been made as the suspect fled the scene before police arrived, according to the LBPD.
Police located a crime scene, but motive and suspect information are under investigation, police said.
