Man arrested after West Long Beach stabbing, police say

Police arrested a suspect after a stabbing in West Long Beach Thursday night.
Long Beach police said Luis Alberto Rodriguez, 42, of Long Beach, allegedly stabbed a man in the 1800 block of Santa Fe Avenue just after 10 p.m.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel treated the victim at the scene for a single stab wound to his upper body, according to authorities. His wound was not considered life-threatening, police added.
Though Rodriguez fled the scene after the stabbing, officers soon located and then arrested him, according to the LBPD.
After being taken to Long Beach City Jail, Rodriguez was booked for assault with a deadly weapon, authorities said. His bail was set at $30,000, according to police.
The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, police added.
