1 man shot in North Long Beach, police say

Police are investigating a shooting in North Long Beach that left a man injured early Thursday morning, authorities said.
Long Beach police say a man was shot in the 100 block of West Bort Street around 12:55 a.m.
The man, who sustained a gunshot wound to his upper body, took himself to a local hospital, according to authorities. His wound was not considered life threatening, according to the LBPD.
The gunshot victim "was unable to provide details of the incident," police said in a statement.
While police said they located evidence of a shooting, circumstances and motive remain under investigation.
