Police are investigating a shooting in North Long Beach that left a woman hospitalized early Wednesday morning.
Long Beach police say the woman was in the 6700 block of Long Beach Boulevard around 3:21 a.m. when an unknown suspect fired multiple rounds in her direction, hitting her once.
She was taken to a local hospital, where she was treated for a single gunshot wound, authorities said. Her wound is not considered life-threatening, according to the LBPD.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said.
