Woman hospitalized after being stabbed Downtown, police say

A woman was hospitalized Tuesday morning after being stabbed Downtown, according to police.
The woman was near the intersection of Fourth Street and Magnolia Avenue around 7 a.m. when a suspect stabbed her, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the victim to a local hospital for treatment of wounds to her upper and lower body, police said. Her wounds do not appear to be life-threatening, they added.
The motive, circumstances and suspect information are all under investigation, police said.
