The university received the threat through a phone call around 2:36 p.m., according to Lt. Carol Almauger.
Cal State Longβs library was evacuated Wednesday afternoon after the university received a bomb threat, but police officers did not find any devices.
The university received the threat through a phone call around 2:36 p.m., according to Lt. Carol Almauger. Campus police officers worked to trace the call and had K9 units sweep campus, Almauger added.
Itβs unclear if police were able to track who called in the threat.
In a post on X, campus police warned anyone inside the library or near the adjoining Academic Services building to evacuate the area.
βAll others stay away from the area until further notice,β CSULB officials said. βWe will share updates as soon as they become available.β
School is currently not in session so only about five people were evacuated from the library, Almauger said.
