Police arrest man suspected of 2 sexual assaults
Victor Carlos Flores, 36, of Long Beach allegedly assaulted two women while working as a massage therapist at La Dolce Vita Spa, according to authorities.
A Long Beach man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting two women while he was working as a massage therapist, and police said they believe there may be additional victims.
Long Beach police say Victor Carlos Flores, 36, assaulted a woman in August 2018 while he was working as a massage therapist at La Dolce Vita Spa in Bixby Park, and then another woman at the same location in March of this year.
Officers arrested Flores Thursday, then booked him at the Long Beach City Jail for felony sexual assault, oral copulation, sexual penetration and failure to update address per sexual offender registrant requirements, according to the LBPD.
Flores's bail was set at No Bail, police added.
Long Beach police also cited La Dolce Vita Spa for having an unlicensed employee conduct licensed services, according to police.
A manager at La Dolce Vita Spa who only identified herself as Laura told the Watchdog that Flores has worked at the spa for 16 years but gave no further comment.
The LBPD will submit the case to the District Attorneyβs Office for filing consideration, police said.
Detectives believe there may be additional unreported incidents and are asking any possible victims to contact Non-Emergency Police Dispatch at 562-435-6711.
