Man stabbed in Central Long Beach, police say

The stabbing happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to authorities.

Police say theyโ€™re investigating a stabbing in Central Long Beach that left a man hospitalized Wednesday evening.

The man was near the 700 block of St. Louis Avenue around 7:30 p.m. when he was stabbed, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel took him to a local hospital for treatment, police said. The man suffered multiple stab wounds to his upper body that were not considered life-threatening, according to authorities.

Motive, circumstances and suspect information are all under investigation, police said.
