Man stabbed at farmers market near 2nd and PCH; suspect arrested, police say

A man was arrested Sunday after allegedly stabbing another man at a farmers market in East Long Beach, according to police.
Long Beach police say they responded just before 1:20 p.m. to the 6600 block of East Marina Drive where they found a man with multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
He was taken by Long Beach Fire Department personnel to a local hospital and is in stable condition, according to authorities.
Officers, meanwhile, located a suspect near the scene and took him into custody, police said.
He was then taken to Long Beach City Jail where he will be booked, according to police. Police did not provide further booking details.
It's unclear why the suspect stabbed the man. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
