Police are investigating a stabbing in Central Long Beach that led to a man getting stabbed early Saturday night.

Long Beach police say two men were arguing in the 1700 block of N. Stanton Place around 6:39 p.m. Saturday when one stabbed the other.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel treated the victim at the scene for a single stab wound to his upper body, but the man declined to go to the hospital, authorities said.

The man's wound was not considered to be life-threatening, according to police.

The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, police said.
