A man was shot during an argument near the Traffic Circle Tuesday night but refused to cooperate with investigators, according to police.
Long Beach police say the man was arguing with someone he knew in the 2000 block of Beverly Plaza around 9 p.m. when that person shot him.
The man sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower body, but refused medical attention, according to authorities. He was also "uncooperative" with LBPD investigators, police said.
The suspect fled the scene prior to officers arriving on scene, according to police.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said.
