Man hospitalized after North Long Beach shooting, police say

Police are investigating a shooting in North Long Beach that left a man hospitalized early Sunday morning.
Long Beach police say the man was in the 4800 block of Long Beach Boulevard around 1:30 a.m. when he was shot.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for a single gunshot wound to his upper body, authorities said. His wound was not considered life-threatening, police added.
Officers located a crime scene, but suspect information, circumstances and the motive for the shooting remain under investigation, according to the LBPD.
