Man hospitalized after Downtown stabbing, police say
The man was in the 200 block of East Broadway around 1 a.m. when he was attacked, authorities said.
Police are investigating a stabbing Downtown that left a man hospitalized just after midnight.
Long Beach police say the man was in the 200 block of East Broadway around 1:07 a.m. when he was stabbed.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the man to a local hospital, where he was treated for multiple injuries to his upper body, according to authorities. His wounds were not considered life-threatening, police said.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers, according to the LBPD.
The motive and circumstances of the stabbing as well as suspect information are currently under investigation, police said.
