Four people, including two burglary suspects, were injured Monday morning after leading police on separate pursuits Monday morning that ended in crashes, according to authorities.

Long Beach police say the suspects burglarized a business in the 1100 block of Anaheim Street around 4:40 a.m.

But by the time officers arrived, the suspects had left to burglarize a second business in the 800 block of West 15th Street, police said.

Officers caught up to them as the suspects were leaving the second location, prompting two separate pursuits, according to the LBPD.

One of the suspects led police eastbound on Pacific Coast Highway before colliding with an unoccupied car and fire hydrant in the 1700 block of Rose Avenue, police said.

The second suspect traveled southbound on Pacific Avenue toward Ocean Boulevard where he crashed into a car, police said.

The impact sent the car the burglary suspect hit into a second vehicle, police said.

One driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries and released, while the other was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Both burglary suspects also sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to the LBPD.

The suspects are currently in custody and awaiting medical clearance before being taken to Long Beach City Jail for booking, police said.

It’s unclear what the suspects took from the businesses, but police said they recovered the items.
