Woman stabbed in North Long Beach, police say
The stabbing happened around 6:23 p.m. Tuesday, according to authorities.

Police say they’re investigating a stabbing in North Long Beach that left a woman injured Tuesday evening.
The woman was in the 600 block of East Artesia Boulevard around 6:23 p.m. when she was approached by two other women and then got into a physical altercation, according to the Long Beach Police Department. One of the women then stabbed the first woman, police added.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel treated the victim for a non-life-threatening stab wound to her upper body, according to authorities.
The two suspects fled on foot prior to officers’ arrival, police said.
The LBPD said it's investigating the motive for the stabbing and information on the suspects.
