Two days after wrapping up the massive two-day Vans Warped Tour, festival and city officials announced the music festival’s return to Long Beach in 2026.

The festival is set to take place at the same place at almost exactly the same time: July 25 and 26 at the shoreline waterfront. Presale tickets go on sale Friday at 9 a.m. PST, with general admission starting at $149.98, according to a social media post. VIP passes will also be available.

Presale passes include an exclusive Warped Tour pin, the post states.

Similar to the initial sale for this year’s event, no bands have been announced for the 2026 festival dates.

The iconic music festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with three two-day festivals — Washington, D.C. in June, Long Beach this past weekend and Orlando in November. Presale tickets for Washington, D.C. next year are already on sale.

The Long Beach festival drew in an estimated 85,000 music fans to enjoy some 130 acts, making it the “biggest punk rock festival in California history,” according to Mayor Rex Richardson.

“This was a phenomenal event — thank you to the Long Beach community and all of the visitors who came to our beautiful city for making this a fun, safe weekend at the biggest punk rock festival in California history,” Richardson wrote on Instagram after attending the event, during which he introduced Sublime.

In classic Warped Tour fashion, the festival also attracted local artists, who played sets on the street after the event wrapped up. The members of one band, Venice Beach-based Who Cares, were even arrested for their guerrilla performance Sunday night.

While the event was a clear success, many attendees voiced frustration over the size of the crowd, saying they felt the event was oversold and overcrowded.

“This is the biggest shit-show in the fucking world. Don’t come to this shit next year,” Blue Collar Happy Hour said on TikTok, noting that the bands were good but the festival was too crowded.

Long Beach Warped Tour, biggest letdown I’ve ever been too. Bands did great, but @Insomniac oversold tickets making the event unbearable. #warpedtour #vanswarpedtour #longbeach @Vans Warped Tour

Dozens of commenters on the official Warped Tour TikTok account voiced similar concerns, saying fans were “packed in like a can of sardines” and that they are “glad it didn’t turn into an Astroworld incident,” referring to an incident at Travis Scott’s music festival that saw 10 people crushed to death during a crowd surge.

Others criticized the layout of the event as well as the lack of shade across the grounds.

Many commenters, however, said this is what was to be expected for the festival's big return.

“Yes, it was the 30th anniversary, yes warped came back after 7 years,” user Kassy Baby said on TikTok. “Expect it to be packed.”
