Teen boy stabbed in North Long Beach, police say

The stabbing happened in the 200 block of Plymouth Street around 4:16 a.m. Monday, according to authorities.

Police say they’re investigating a stabbing in North Long Beach that left a teen boy injured Monday.

The teen was in the 200 block of Plymouth Street around 4:16 a.m. when he got into an argument with another teen boy, according to the Long Beach Police Department. The second teen then stabbed the other, police said.

Authorities did not release the age of either boy.

The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, according to police.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the injured teen to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
