Police are investigating a stabbing in the Sunrise district that left a person hospitalized early Saturday morning.

Long Beach police say the victim was stabbed in the 2000 block of Lemon Avenue around 1 a.m. Saturday.

The victim was hospitalized, but their injury was not considered life-threatening, according to authorities.

The motive for the stabbing and suspect information are under investigation, police said.
