Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision in the Wilmore area that left two people injured on June 21.

The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. on Seventh Street at Magnolia Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

The driver of a late model metallic blue Dodge Charger with black, five-spoke wheels was traveling westbound when he sideswiped a 2026 Honda Prologue driving in the same direction, police said.

The impact caused the Honda to hit several unoccupied parked vehicles and then overturn, according to the LBPD. The driver of the Charger did not stop after the crash, police said.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the Honda's male driver and female passenger to a local hospital, where they were treated for moderate injuries, according to authorities.

Police describe the suspect as a Black man in his early 20s, about 5’10” and 170-180 pounds. He had blue braces on his teeth and was wearing a multicolored shirt, tan shorts, gray socks and gray sandals, according to police. He also had diamond stud earrings and wore glasses with diamond accents at the hinge and on the bridge, police added.
