Police search for hit-and-run suspect in crash that injured two teens
The driver of a gray Ford Fusion did not stop after hitting two teen boys riding motorized dirt bikes, authorities said.
Police are asking for the public's help in finding the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash in North Long Beach that left two teens injured on July 25.
The crash happened around 6:21 p.m. at the intersection of Market Street and Elm Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The driver of a gray four-door Ford Fusion heading northbound on Elm hit two teen boys, one 16 and the other 17, on motorized dirt bikes traveling westbound on Market Street, police said.
The driver of the Ford Fusion then fled the scene, according to police.
Both teens were taken to a local hospital, authorities said. The 16-year-old sustained critical injuries, while the 17-year-old suffered moderate injuries, according to the LBPD.
