Police search for 75-year-old woman with mental conditions
Police say Wanda F. Thomas Jenkins walked away from her home in the 1700 block of Long Beach Boulevard around 3 a.m.
UPDATE: Wanda F. Thomas Jenkins has been found safe and unharmed in Los Angeles, according to police.
Police are asking the public for help in finding an at-risk 75-year-old woman who went missing in Long Beach Sunday morning.
Wanda F. Thomas Jenkins was last seen around 3 a.m. at her home in the 1700 block of Long Beach Boulevard, police said.
She left on foot and it is unclear where she may be headed, police said, adding that she may become disoriented due to her mental conditions.
The Long Beach Police Department described Jenkins as being 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a gold sweater and poncho, black pants, polo shoes and carrying a large yellow purse, police said.
