Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a hit-and-run crash last month along Fourth Street that left two pedestrians injured.

Video released by the Long Beach Police Department on Tuesday shows two pedestrians using a crosswalk in the area of Fourth Street and St. Louis on July 17.

Moments later, someone driving a white four-door KIA sedan hits them, police said.

The driver of the KIA drove off after hitting the pedestrians, who were taken to a local hospital with moderate, but not life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.

Detectives are currently working to identity the driver responsible but appear to only have the last three digits of the license plate number: 243.

Police ask that anyone with more information contact detectives at 562-570-7355.
