Police arrest man following stabbing in North Long Beach
A woman was also stabbed in a separate incident in the Franklin neighborhood, according to the LBPD.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly stabbing another man in North Long Beach late Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.
Long Beach police allege Mauricio Antonio Guzman of Long Beach stabbed a man during an argument in the 300 block of Neece Street around 5:15 p.m. Saturday.
A crowd of people had already detained Guzman when officers arrived, police said.
A good samaritan had also already taken the stabbing victim to a local hospital, according to police.
Guzman was then arrested and booked on one count of attempted murder, according to the LBPD. Bail was set at $1 million, according to authorities.
The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, police said.
About 12 hours later in a separate incident, a woman was stabbed in the 700 block of Orange Avenue, according to police.
The stabbing victim and another woman had been in an argument with a man and woman, which escalated when the man stabbed the victim around 5:25 a.m. Sunday morning, police said.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the victim to a local hospital, where she was treated for multiple stab wounds to her upper body, according to authorities. Her wounds were not considered life-threatening, police said.
Both suspects fled the scene prior to officers' arrival, police added.
The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing.
