Person stabbed during argument in North Long Beach, police say
Another person was stabbed in Central Long Beach in a separate incident, according to authorities.
Police say theyβre investigating a stabbing in North Long Beach that left a person hospitalized Friday night.
Long Beach police say the victim and a man got into an argument in the 5400 block of Dairy Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Friday, which escalated when the man stabbed the victim.
Prior to the arrival of officers, the victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds, according to authorities.
LBPD Officers located and secured a crime scene, and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
About a half hour later in a separate incident, a man arrived at a family member's residence in the 1300 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue after being stabbed, according to the LBPD.
The man had sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds to his upper body, authorities said.
The motive and suspect information for that stabbing remain under investigation, police said.
