Music instructor arrested on suspicion of exposing himself to a child, 2 women, LBPD says
Police say 25-year-old Silas Topzand of Long Beach is suspected of exposing himself to a girl in 2023 and at least two women between 2021 and 2022.
A Long Beach music instructor has been arrested on suspicion of exposing himself to a young girl and multiple woman between 2021 and 2022, and there may be additional victims, according to police.
Police say 25-year-old Silas Topzand is suspected of first exposing himself to a woman in September 2021 near Cherry Avenue and Second Street. He exposed himself again to a woman near Lakewood Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway sometime around January 2022, LBPD said.
Topzand already had a warrant out for his arrest for the previous two crimes, according to police, when a girl in October 2023 said the Topzand exposed himself in front of her on two occasions in February and March 2022.
On June 6, authorities arrested Topzand in San Pedro on suspicion of lewd and lascivious acts with a child, indecent exposure and the arrest warrant, police said. His bail was set at $150,000, they added.
The case has been filed to the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office for filing consideration, police said.
