Man stabbed during argument near 2ND & PCH, police say

The stabbing happened in the 6400 block of East Pacific Coast Highway around 12:35 a.m. Sunday, according to authorities.

Police say they’re investigating a stabbing near 2ND & PCH that left a man injured shortly after midnight.

The victim and another man were arguing in the 6400 block of East Pacific Coast Highway around 12:35 a.m. Sunday, which escalated when the second man stabbed the victim, according to Long Beach police.

The victim declined transportation to a local hospital, but later took himself there for treatment of a stab wound to his lower body, police said. The wound was not considered life-threatening, police added.

The investigation is ongoing, according to the LBPD.
