Man stabbed during argument in North Long Beach; suspect arrested, police say
Another man was stabbed in a separate incident in North Long Beach, according to authorities.

Police say theyβre investigating a stabbing in North Long Beach that left a man hospitalized Saturday afternoon.
The man was arguing with another man in the 6300 block of Cherry Avenue around 4:49 p.m. when he was apparently stabbed, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the victim to a local hospital for treatment, police said. The man suffered a stab wound to his upper body that was not considered life-threatening, according to authorities.
Officers arrested a suspect, who was still at the scene, police said. The suspect was identified as Eleazer Holgun, 43, Long Beach, according to the LBPD.
Holgun was booked for battery and exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm, police said. His bail was set at $10,000, according to authorities.
The investigation into the stabbing is ongoing, police said.
About five hours earlier, another man was stabbed in North Long Beach, according to the LBPD.
The victim was apparently walking in the 5600 block of Linden Avenue around 11:40 a.m. when two suspects approached him, police said. After a brief altercation, one of the suspects stabbed the victim, police added.
The victim took himself to a local hospital, where he was treated for a non-life-threatening wound to his upper body, according to the LBPD.
Officers searched the area mentioned by the victim but could not locate evidence of a stabbing or any suspects, police said.
Suspect information and motive remain under investigation, police added.
