Man shot in North Alamitos Beach, police say
The man was in the 1000 block of East Fourth Street early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
Police are investigating a shooting in North Alamitos Beach that left a man hospitalized early Tuesday morning.
Long Beach police say the man was in the 1000 block of East Fourth Street around 2:52 a.m. when he was shot once in the upper body.
After LBPD officers aided the man, Long Beach Fire Department personnel took him to a local hospital in stable condition, according to authorities.
The suspect fled before officers arrived at the scene, police said.
Suspect information, motive and the circumstances of the shooting are all under investigation, according to police.
