Man fatally shot in Bixby Park neighborhood, police say
The shooting happened around 1:28 a.m. Sunday at the 200 block of Falcon Avenue, according to Long Beach police.

Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead early Sunday morning, authorities said.
Long Beach police say they responded to the 200 block of Falcon Avenue around 1:28 a.m. following reports of a shooting. There, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the LBPD.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the victim to a local hospital where he died of his injuries, according to authorities.
The identity of the victim is being withheld while the Los Angeles County Department of the Medical Examiner works to notify his next of kin, police said.
The motive and circumstances of the shooting are under investigation, police added.
