Man arrested after firing shots into the air, police say
The man was shooting in the 5800 block of Elm Avenue early Thursday morning, according to authorities.

A man in North Long Beach was arrested for firing a gun into the air early Thursday morning, police said.
Long Beach police say they responded to a shots call in the 5800 block of Elm Avenue around 1:50 a.m.
After determining a male suspect had fired shots into the air, officers located the man and arrested him, police said.
No other injuries were reported, according to the LBPD.
Police said their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
