Police say 35-year-old Jeremy Gonzalez took photos of people and their property on multiple occasions between April and December 2023.
A Los Angeles man has been arrested on suspicion of invading the privacy of people living in a Downtown Long Beach residential complex, police said Thursday.
Long Beach Police say 35-year-old Jeremy Gonzalez was working as maintenance worker at the complex in the area of Ocean Boulevard and Pine Avenue when he took photos of people and their property without permission between April and December 2023.
Authorities gathered evidence of the alleged crimes and presented the case to the Long Beach prosecutor’s office, who issued a warrant out for Gonzalez’s arrest, police said.
Gonzalez was taken into custody Wednesday in connection to the crimes and booked on 30 counts of invasion of privacy, police said, adding that they believe there may be more victims.
His bail was set at $300,000, police said.
Police ask any additional victims to contact their sex crime detail at 562-570-7368.
