As October turns to November, it’s time for Long Beach to celebrate Día de los Muertos with a parade on Saturday, Nov. 2.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the intersection of Pine Avenue and East Third Street and proceed down Pine until East Shoreline Drive.

The grand marshals for this year's event are First District Councilwoman Mary Zendejas, mariachi artist and singer Julian Torres, Long Beach Latino Employees Organization, Latinos in Action California and Centro CHA.

The parade aligns with Arte y Ofrendas Festival, a family-friendly event featuring arts, crafts, music, entertainment, food and beverages. It will take place at Marina Green Park from noon to 10 p.m.. Tickets for the event can be found here.

If community members are not able to enjoy the festivities in person, the parade will also be streamed live on the ABC7 Los Angeles’ digital channel followed by an on-air broadcast on ABC7 Los Angeles Sunday, Nov. 3 at 10:30 a.m..
