Police say they’re investigating a stabbing in West Long Beach that left a boy injured Wednesday.

The boy was in the 2100 block of Santa Fe Avenue around 5:39 p.m. when he got into a fight with another boy, according to the Long Beach Police Department. The second boy then stabbed the first boy, police said.

Authorities did not release the age of either juvenile.
