4.4 earthquake near Highland Park shakes LA, Orange counties — the internet reacts
The earthquake could be felt as far south as San Clemente, according to the U.S. Geological Survey

Residents in Long Beach and beyond felt a rolling 4.4 earthquake around noon on Monday, Aug. 12.
The U.S. Geological Survey put the epicenter 2.5 miles southeast of Highland Park and registered the earthquake at 12:20 p.m. The quake was initially reported as having a 4.7 magnitude by the USGS.
Residents as far south as San Clemente and northeast in Hesperia could feel shaking, according to early data collected from the USGS.

People describing things "flying off the shelves" at stores on @knxnews. If things are "flying off the shelves" from a 4.4, these places are not earthquake safe. Everything, especially in LA, needs to be earthquake resistant.
