2 men stabbed in Washington neighborhood, police say

The stabbing happened in the 300 block of West Pacific Coast Highway around 10:24 p.m. Friday, according to authorities.

Police say they’re investigating a stabbing in the Washington School neighborhood that left two men hospitalized Friday night.

The men were in the 300 block of West Pacific Coast Highway around 10:24 p.m. when they were stabbed, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the first victim to a local hospital, while the second victim transported himself to the hospital, police said. Both men were in stable condition, according to authorities.

The suspect, identified by police only as a male adult, fled the scene on foot prior to officers' arrival.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
