2 men stabbed in separate incidents, police say

One man was stabbed around 8:05 p.m. in the Hellman neighborhood, according to authorities. The other was stabbed minutes later in North Long Beach.

Two men were stabbed in separate incidents Friday night, police said.

Long Beach police say the first man was stabbed around 8:05 p.m. in 1200 block of Walnut Avenue.

Long Beach Fire Department personnel took the victim to a local hospital where he was treated for a stab wound to his upper body, according to authorities. His wound was not considered life-threatening, police said.

The second man was stabbed about 12 minutes later in the 5400 block of Atlantic Avenue, according to the LBPD.

LBFD personnel also took this victim to a local hospital. He was treated for multiple stab wounds to his upper body that weren't considered life-threatening, police said.

Investigations into both stabbings are ongoing, according to police.
