2 men hospitalized after North Long Beach shooting, police say
The men were in the 3400 block of Artesia Boulevard around 2 a.m. Monday when they were shot, according to authorities.
Police are investigating a shooting in North Long Beach that left two men hospitalized early Monday morning.
Long Beach police say the men were in the 3400 block of Artesia Boulevard at 1:57 a.m. Monday when they were shot.
Both men sustained gunshot wounds to their lower bodies, police said. LBPD officers gave them aid until Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived and took them to a local hospital, according to authorities.
Their wounds were not considered life-threatening, police said.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers, according to the LBPD.
Suspect, motive and the circumstances of the shooting are all under investigation, police said.
