2 arrested after man was hit by a stray bullet, police say
During a fight Tuesday, a man fired a gun, hitting another man who was not involved in the altercation.
Police arrested a man for allegedly shooting another man in Central Long Beach, according to authorities.
Long Beach police say the suspect fired a gun during a fight between a man and woman in the 1000 block of Redondo Avenue around 5:20 p.m. Tuesday. The gunshot injured an uninvolved man who was nearby, police added.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel treated the shooting victim at the scene for a minor injury, according to authorities.
Police arrested the man who fired the gun and the man who was fighting with the woman, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, according to the LBPD.
