1 dead in West Long Beach house fire, authorities say
Long Beach Fire Department officials said they responded to the deadly blaze at a home in the 2400 block of Fashion Avenue in West Long Beach at around 7:30 p.m.
A person is dead following a house fire in West Long Beach Monday night, according to authorities.
Few details were immediately available, but the Long Beach Fire Department said in a post on social media that fire crews responded to the blaze at a home in the 2400 block of Fashion Avenue at around 7:30 p.m.
Video posted on social media by the LBFD shows heavy smoke emanating from a home on the corner of Fashion Avenue. A burst of flames can also be seen on the rooftop.
One person that had been inside the home was pronounced dead, fire officials said. No other injuries were reported, they added.
